Soup Can Holder

I need to organize my pantry better. A while ago I made a skinny shelf to snuggle in between the door frame and the built in shelves for my cans. It worked great... EXCEPT, I have too many cans. So, on to a new project. I gathered some supplies... mod podge, an empty 12 pack box, and some ugly scrapbook paper that was on clearance at Joann's.

First, I turned on some judge shows, then I cut a hole in the top back so the cans will get rotated as they are put away.

Then mod podge the scrapbook paper onto the box.

Dresser labels

My daughter received a hand-me-down five drawer dresser recently from her sister who no longer needed it. This allowed me to separate and better organize her clothing. Then I created some labels for her dresser to help her quickly find what she's looking for.

I used Microsoft publisher to create the labels, self sealing lamminating sheets to cover them for durability, and Command small poster strips to stickk them to the drawers. Easy Peasy! And as a wonderful bonus, she is excited to put her clothes away on her own as well.

Knee patches

My daughter found a pair of her pants and they had holes in them. And of course, at that moment, they were her favorite pair of pants so mom HAD to fix them. So while she was in school I set to work. I found a cute patterned fleece. Then I cut out two of the pictures, used some heat and bond to hold the fleece where I wanted it, then sewed around the edges.
Voila, cute jeans that no longer have holes.
